Honestly, it all sounds baffling to this American. If he committed a crime, and it looks like he did, keeping his royal title seems like the least of anyone's problems. The victim deserves more in the way of justice obviously, and so does the perp, though in the opposite direction. Biden ought to let the chips fall where they may. Nobody on this side of the ocean cares about royals. We have our own Plutes to worry about.

As always, a brilliant writing style. More importantly, very important legal insights regarding the legal and Nat security implications. While we can agree to disagree about Harry - I believe he wanted out of the RF long before he met Meghan. My guess it’s only Meghan who has regrets. My heart does go out to the Queen who clearly abided by her obligations with true dedication. However, at 95 she has to look back on her life as a mother with some regret. No one deserves that. Andrew should have dealt with this ages ago but you are correct - the HRH needs to be rescinded.

Any connection to the evil Jeffrey Epstein renders the person with the connection completely radioactive. Your suggestion is a good and proper one, but it seems to me like the Royal Family does not respond well to pressure like this (or, am I dead wrong?).

Scathing piece on the Royal Family. I can only guess your harsh words are because you’re so upset that the Queen is still protecting Andrew. Interesting rationale on what possible evidence SDNY could have. Impossible to believe that Giuffre was the only sex-trafficked girl Andrew victimized at Ghislaine & Epstein get-togethers.

Is it the HRH title that prevents the US from seeking extradition of Prince Andrew, Louise?

This is quite a dilemma. One thing however, Strauss would only bring criminal charges if the evidence showed anyone under age 16. If this is revealed, then the queen in the best interest of the UK and the relationship with the U.S., must strip Andrew of all entitlements and title. It would be an excruciating thing for a mother, but it would avoid the backlash of Andrew getting away with it. There are accounts of Andrew and Fergie on Epstein’s plane and in the Paris apartment. Epstein paid Fergie’s debt. Recently, Fergie has been publicly defending Andrew and the two share a residence. It was also reported that Andrew also hired an extradition lawyer. There was also reporting that Andrew and Maxwell had been seen conferring after Epstein arrest. On the U.S. side, one must conclude there’s a mountain of photographic and financial evidence as the reporting suggests. They might attack Guiffre’s lawyer Boris as he was Weinstein’s lawyer up until the arrest. Boris also worked with Lisa Bloom to defend Weinstein with the strategy of discrediting the victims. Bloom appeared to take on cases of victims only to help learn how to discredit them on behalf of Weinstein. Her victim’s advocacy appears to be false. That sheds an unpleasant light on Bois and his role as a lawyer protecting Weinstein. This matters only in a PR sense. Bois belongs to a very famous firm that is representing a number of high profile cases. The public has learned too much about catch & kill stories & about the criminal trafficking of underage women for the benefit of men in power. The public will not tolerate Andrew walking away without accountability. Both in the U.S. and the U.K. , there seems to be a feeling that we are done watching privileged people get away with crimes. We shall see. The best thing the queen can do, is to be proactive and not allow this to keep festering & it would take the uncomfortable onus off of Biden admin to either drop the case or pursue criminal indictments based on the law. What a nightmare.

One thing to remember about the "ginger whiner" is that Americans love Harry as much as they loved Princess Diana - full stop. Americans are not that much into the weeds of The Firm, but they do watch Harry and have no problem demonizing the rest of the lot. As for Prince Andrew

being a national security conduit...wow!

"The SAS, (UK’s version of Delta)"

You dumb bitch do you even know what the SAS is? "Delta" that's the US Delta Force since you don't seem to know, is their version of the SAS.

"We have to work with the United States, they are the senior partner. "

No we don't, and no they're obviously not. We are the senior partner and the United States is a former British colony. Clueless on all historical matters are you Louise? Is there anything you do know?
