I have just finished a superb book, The Spy And The Traitor by Ben Macintyre. The true story of a Russian Double Agent. It read like a le Carre novel, which makes sense given his own secret service background. Not a story of elimination but certainly one of rescue. Gosh, I felt proud to be British.....we just quietly get things done, no fuss, fanfare or chest-beating. I highly recommend it.
